Wroclaw City. Communication strategy designed to support Urban Farm, a new civic initiative, with a focus on clarity, inclusivity, and community connection.

Summary
The Wroclaw City Council, in collaboration with the University of Life Sciences and SWPS University in Wroclaw, is creating an Urban Farm. A distinctive feature of the project is the final delivery of the harvested vegetables to Wroclaw's nurseries.
My role on the UX side covered Research, Ideation, Motion Design, and Final Delivery, focusing exclusively on user-centered solutions.

The problem
Wroclaw residents struggle to understand urban farming initiatives due to scattered communication or unclear messaging, leading to confusion, limited awareness, and low community involvement.
Wroclaw citizens don't know what Urban Farms are. Most people are unfamiliar with the term and associate it only with gardens in the city center. Some believe that Urban Farms are not necessary for the community.
75%
of respondents don't see the Urban Farm as a community or meaningful initiative
62%
of respondents have never heard of the term Urban Farm
50%
of respondents said locality and the product origin are very important
Solution
Increasing Wroclaw residents' knowledge about the role and benefits of Urban Farms by creating appropriate visual communication, which will help boost social engagement, environmental care, and support for the initiative.
Using available resources, we took on the challenge of improving the Urban Farm's image among those who may have a negative or neutral attitude toward the project, aiming to increase the number of positive supporters.
The designs highlight the Urban Farm’s socio-environmental values, promoting sustainability and responsible consumption. Clear visuals and messaging encourage community participation in urban farming.
